Evoria M Bloc Fest 2024 kembali hadir sebagai festival tahunan kreatif selama 10 hari, mulai 27 September hingga 6 Oktober 2024 di M Bloc Space, Jakarta Selatan. Festival ini memadukan berbagai elemen kreatif dari musik, seni, film, hingga fashion, namun tahun ini M Bloc Design Week (MBDW) menjadi sorotan utama dengan tema “Daur Rupa – Sustainable Design,” yang mengedepankan desain berkelanjutan serta inovasi di bidang arsitektur, desain produk, dan desain grafis.

Situated in a dense neighbourhood in South Jakarta, H House stands on a corner land plot that measures only over 60 square metres. A plot with this size is tiny already, but the buildable area is even more limited as the city regulation requires setbacks from two sides of the land plot that are adjacent to the streets. As a result, H House can only utilise not more than 40 square metres of the land to erect the building.

Setelah proses renovasi dan revitalisasi yang cukup singkat, M Bloc akhirnya dibuka untuk publik pada 26 September 2019. M Bloc adalah proyek alih fungsi yang memanfaatkan aset idle Perusahaan Umum Percetakan Uang RI (Peruri) untuk ruang kreatif yang terbilang sangat sedikit di Jakarta. Ide M Bloc diinisiasi oleh PT Ruang Riang Milenial yang terdiri dari Handoko Hendroyono, Lance Mengong, Glenn Fredly, Wendi Putranto, Jacob Gatot Sura, dan Mario Sugianto.

Deskripsi oleh Garis Miring Studio M Boutique Hostel dibangun mulai tahun 2014 dengan merenovasi dan mengalihfungsikan bangunan yang ada. Proses renovasi banguan ini tanpa mengubah massa dan struktur bangunan yang ada. Renovasi meliputi fasad bangunan serta fungsi-fungsi ruangan yang ada di dalamnya. Perubahan fungsi dari tempat tinggal menjadi banguan dengan fungsi penginapan komersil.
