Green is a versatile colour that can be used in kitchens to evoke a natural ambiance, to convey utility or modernity, or even tradition, depending on its tone. In this collection of real homes, Iver Hardware is utilised to bolster and reinforce each kitchen concept, raising the green kitchen’s game from merely attractive to utterly transformative.

This 1980s timber cabin embraces its leafy outlook with cabinetry slicked in pale green paint. Sarlat Cabinet Pulls in Signature Brass highlight its cosy, cabin-feel, with their traditional curvature and ring embellishment speaking of a time past when quaintness was everyday and adornment came as standard.

The Kaleen Project kitchen acutely demonstrates how different two pale green kitchens can be, and how effectively hardware can metamorphosise that change. Here, the Osaka Cabinet Pulls and Cupboard Knobs do the heavy lifting, their Satin Nickel finishes substantiating their pared-back modernity. Such contemporary kitchen hardware makes for a space that feels fresh, prioritising smarts over informality.

The sage green kitchen at Villa Meroo leans into rusticity, thanks primarily to textured tiling and Iver’s Sarlat Cabinet Pulls in Signature Brass, their classic form in turn complementing the traditional floorboards of the home. The combination helps to create a space that has a sense of place, tapping into what nearby Berry in New South Wales is known for – history and tradition.

The cabinetry on this Leichhardt kitchen is finished in sage, the colour softening and balancing the urbanity of the home’s location in Sydney’s Inner West. We are alerted to metropolitan life by the glamorous, golden-toned Brushed Brass Osaka Cabinet Pulls and Knobs, then, on closer inspection, reminded of it by their sleek design. Completed with the half-moon-shaped Osaka Large Pull, its playful form the only adornment on the otherwise minimal floor-to-ceiling cabinetry of the side wall.

This shaker-style kitchen leans into vintage with dark green cabinets, the elegance of their tone working in harmony with the Parisian charm of the herringbone floor. The understated detailing of the Sarlat range in Signature Brass is put to good use here, particularly with the kitchen drawer handles which are decked out in semicircular Sarlat Drawer Pulls, while the cupboards sport ring-embellished Sarlat Cabinet Pulls and Knobs. The Round Euro Escutcheons and Sarlat Lever with Round Rose beautify the door, giving one a taste of what’s to come upon entering the kitchen.

The green cabinetry within the Embleton Home project is just green enough to be fun, but not dark enough to be too serious. Enhancing this narrative is the hardware, with the Osaka Half Moon Pulls organised in both semi and whole circles, horizontally and vertically, to create a playful effect. The Osaka Cupboard Knobs on the drawers, and Osaka Lever Round Rose and Lever with Chamfered Backplate on the doors, pull the space together, bringing a sense of completion to a kitchen made playful rather than merely functional.
