Take a look at this stunning new addition to the Barangaroo waterfront.
Officially opened on 30th April, the Pier Pavilion is a 7m tall public space with 85 structural steel columns and a large oculus in the roof designed to open the space to natural light.
Fytogreen are proud to have delivered the rooftop garden at the stunning new Barangaroo Pier Pavilion. We continue to maintain this space, and it's been a pleasure watching this space grow in and thrive as part of Sydney’s iconic waterfront.
Home to nearly 2500 drought-tolerant native plants, sandstone boulders and logs for wildlife habitat, the Pavilion also features recycled oyster shells mixed with Australian marble chip, sand, and cement, reflecting the waterfront’s maritime and cultural history as a source of cockles and oysters for the Gadigal people.

Project Highlights
Our team has been busy with several exciting projects across Australia. Here are some highlights:
Seafarers Residences: An ongoing project here in Melbourne, we are currently installing over 950m² of green infrastructure on this stunning project including planter boxes, green walls, and roof gardens.
Private Residence: Last month Fytogreen revisited this impressive modern home in Hawthorn to find it growing in fantastically
Back in October 2024 we installed a whopping 743m² of green infrastructure combining 1,900 plants, mature trees and turf, within the roof gardens, planter boxes and general landscaping, needless to say the owners are delighted !
West Tamworth League Club: This project was successfully installed on April 28th by the Queensland team. Features two stunning fire-compliant Fytofelt green walls, covering a total of 143m², its home to 56 species and 2,862 plants, creating a lush, vibrant and welcoming entrance to the club.
