Officially opened on March 11, 2024 during International Women’s Day celebrations, the Moya Dodd Grandstand at UNSW Village Green is a meaningful milestone—supporting community sport while recognising progress toward gender equality in sport. Set in Braidwood, NSW, the Saleyards Lane residence is a standout example of what’s possible when architectural intent, buildability, and performance all align. Delivered through a true collaboration between Tim Lee Architects, Donovan Building Group, and the ARCPANEL team, this project demanded large clear spans, a complex layered form, and generous overhangs—all while performing through extreme seasonal temperature swings (from -10 to the high thirties).
